The Project 

Located in the heart of Adelaide’s corporate Mecca, the iconic 60 King Street was an ideal choice for NAB’s new workspace. Undergoing redevelopment, the state-of-the-art building was designed to support hybrid working with a functional and modern environment while meeting the desire for sustainable features including 6-star Green Star rating, a 5-star NABERS Energy Rating, 6-star NABERS Waste Rating, and Platinum Well certification, supporting NAB’s climate action strategy.

Beyond breakout areas, meeting rooms, and vibrant social hubs, the space also required exceptional acoustics—seamlessly blending with bold minimalistic aesthetics to create a memorable and harmonious workspace and environment.

The Atkar Solution

When bold design calls for a statement, Au.diCube delivers. Expertly crafted for optimal sound absorption, it also served as a striking feature ceiling, enhanced by elegant strip lighting and feature pendants. Its impact was further amplified with a bold pop of colour, symbolising prosperity and good fortune. Seamlessly integrated, Au.diCube’s luxurious design extended from the lower levels to the upper areas, contributing to the creation of a cohesive and visually stunning space.

In the meeting spaces, Au.diPanel was incorporated as a feature ceiling, delivering optimal sound performance to enhance collaboration. Beyond meeting all acoustic requirements, Au.diPanel seamlessly complemented the room’s magnetism with its beautifully finished details.
