As one of Australia’s busiest transport hubs, the Melbourne Airport T3 Stage 2 redevelopment required a design solution that could support high passenger volumes while delivering a premium passenger experience. As part of the terminal upgrade, Atkar’s VoglFuge seamless perforated plasterboard ceiling system was installed throughout key areas, including the Virgin Australia Baggage Claim zone.

Designed to enhance both aesthetics and performance, VoglFuge combines a clean, seamless ceiling finish with exceptional acoustic control. Its precision-engineered perforations help reduce reverberation and improve speech intelligibility, creating a calmer and more comfortable environment in high-traffic spaces.
