Statement from the Director.

With the upcoming Atkar 75th anniversary, it’s the time of year to reflect on the challenges of the last couple of years, but importantly to look forward to all that’s ahead…

From small beginnings in post-war 1947 Atkar was born from the relentless striving to provide a technically superior range of world standard products, all with a focus on our customer’s needs.   In the 1980s we were one of the first to develop a designer range of acoustic panels. Since then, we have continuously bolstered our range of products and services to deliver the best experience for our customers – this innovation is key to  what we offer our valued customers today.

The theme is continuing in 2022, with a focus on continuous innovation in not only products, but our customer experience, with several exciting projects in the works. 75 years is a long time for any business to be in operation, but it’s adapting to change and pushing the boundaries that keeps us leading in the industry and looking forward with enthusiasm to the future.

Looking back over 2021, we invested in expanding our team to bring a wide range of skills to help drive growth and enhance our service for our customers. We welcomed a new estimator, architectural consultant, product manager and marketing team leader. The new talent combined with our existing expert staff members make up a world class team – an exciting chapter for the business and our customers.

Most importantly, I would like to take this time to thank our customers. It’s your support over the last 75 years that has made it possible for Atkar to get to where it is today.

The team looks forward to working with you in the new year after a well-deserved holiday break.
