As 2016 comes to a close  we are thankful to be able to reflect on a number of milestones that have been achieved through the year and we can’t wait to share some of the new and exciting developments that will be happening in 2017. One noteworthy item for the coming year is that Atkar is entering its 70th year of operation!  It is this depth of experience that is embedded at Atkar which also provides you, the customer, with the confidence that we are fully committed in our unrelenting drive to be at the forefront of our industry.

One major area of achievement this year has been our significant investment in employing new key staff who bring a range of skills to enhance the Atkar offer and help drive our growth into the future.

Central to this,  we are very pleased to announce the appointment of our new General Manager, Tom Devine. As the former Country Manager of Assa Abloy (inc. Lockwood Australia), Tom brings a wealth of experience from the architectural and building materials industries to help take Atkar to the next level.  Tom will head up the entire team including our existing valued staff and the new talent that we have engaged in areas such as customer service, marketing, product development and engineering.

We will continue to build on our recent acquisition of Quantum, expanding our product range and constantly sourcing and developing innovative new products offering you limitless design potential. During 2017, we hope to bring to you a number of the service improvements and product developments that we have been working on and look forward to the opportunities that these will provide for our customers.
