Atkar Group introduces decorative range of polyester acoustic products to their range.

With over 70 years’ experience, Atkar Group are known as leaders in delivering beautiful timber acoustic wall and ceiling panels.  They are excited to announce their next product initiative, the introduction of Au.diQuiet – a decorative polyester acoustic panel range that offers outstanding quality, excellent fire performance and exceptional acoustics.

“The decision to introduce a soft polyester acoustics range was well considered by the team. We understand that our clients have different requirements when they are looking for acoustic solutions, and we believe that Au.diQuiet is a great addition to the existing range of timber acoustic products that Atkar is famous for” states Tom Devine, General Manager at Atkar Group.

Au.diQuiet, which is manufactured from thermally bonded polyester fibre with up to 80% recycled content, will complement the already extensive range of acoustic linings, and will include two panel types in the range – Au.diQuiet Panel and Au.diQuiet Rigid Panel.

“Au.diQuiet Panel is a high performing decorative panel with a plush fabric finish that offers excellent acoustics with NRC values up to 1.0. Au.diQuiet Rigid Panel is a high-end decorative acoustic panel that can have a raw, exposed face or a plush fabric finish” states Devine.

The range is available in a white or black base colour and if panels are to be supplied with a fabric face, there are 18 durable and modern colours to choose from.

“Another reason we decided to introduce a polyester acoustic panel is that it builds on our significant existing portfolio of fire rated products by offering a Group 1 Fire Rating across the range.”

Au.diQuiet has been tested to AS ISO 9705 and received a BCA Group 1 Fire Rating. It also holds a GreenTag^TM certification. Atkar Group understand how important it is to ensure the correct Group Rated product is used in every application and work very closely with their clients to ensure that the product selected not only achieves their design vision but also meets the required fire compliance.

We offer acoustic linings made from timber, fibre cement, plasterboard, steel and now polyester – which we hope makes us the first point of call for our clients when seeking acoustic lining solutions” continues Devine.
