Situation

New extension to the Alfred Intensive Care Unit.

Solution

Collaborating closely with Billard Leece, Atkar delivered a solution with maximum acoustic control whilst meeting stringent health regulations governing particle contamination in this highly sensitive environment. Atkar’s Au.diSlot ceiling system was custom fabricated to precisely fit raked roof lanterns and treated with a custom designed and tested barrier membrane. To further reinforce compliance, all fixings were concealed using the Au.diMount PS3 system. The stately warmth of the seminar room is achieved with Au.diSlot wall panels finished in golden sassafras. A fully integrated, operable door demonstrates Atkar’s commitment to delivering Beyond Expectations.
